Every receipt that has cleared our evidence bar, kept permanently and dated. Nothing is removed. When something is corrected, the correction is appended and the original stays visible.

Ten types, in two families.

Family A — Incongruence

The gap between the standard someone set and how they behaved. These have a bright line: they said or did something, and it contradicts their own stated standard.

• Position reversal — said or voted one way, later the opposite
• Rules for thee — imposed a standard, exempted themselves
• Say / do — advocates a value, conduct contradicts it
• Selective application — consequences demanded for opponents, silence for allies
• Beneficiary conflict — votes on or regulates what they profit from

Family B — Buffoonery proper

Conduct that is absurd, ignorant, self-defeating, performative or wasteful. These have no bright line. The fact is documented; the judgment that it is clownish is our opinion, and we label it as one.
